What?
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alice Wagner design studio for Scapa's brand for a few years. I was initially asked to create an illustration style to complement Scapa's existing graphic profile, and since then, I have consistently produced graphic and animated assets for them. Throughout the years, we've developed an extensive library of elements tailored for their videos, digital platforms, and print materials.

How?
The goal was to lighten up the profile with icons, infographics and other illustrations where photos weren’t practical or possible to produce. The brief I was given was to create a playful visual language through line work, numbers, and letters to simplify, clarify, and add humor with a twinkle in the eye into their communication.

The design we went forward with is a line art style, characterized by typical cartoon shapes with curved and chubby objects. The key to the overall cohesion lies in the small details, like the degree of curvature in each object and the open ends of the lines, providing a touch of spontaneity and a handcrafted feel. Additionally, I hand-drew a simple typeface specifically for use within the illustrations.
